    This course will introduce you to the fundamental concepts and functions using WebFOCUS Designer, a web-based development tool that you can use to create interactive, responsive portals and pages, using content created by you or other members of your organization. This self-paced training gets you started using WebFOCUS Designer for building a series of user interfaces for existing reports and charts.

    You will learn how to:
  • Generate compelling portals and interactive pages quickly using your existing content
  • Create a portal and its underlying structure
  • Employ built-in templates to construct pages for displaying your content
  • Resize and rearrange resources on a page with ease
  • Use the integrated filter controls to create interactive, responsive pages from your content
  • Customize your portal with icons at different portal levels
  • Put it all together in your portal
  • Using a virtual environment that is available for 10 hours over 14 days, and in-session course materials, you will work through hands-on exercises and complete a challenge exercise to test your understanding. A PDF copy of the course manual is included for your reference.

    Who should take this class:

    Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting concepts and operational data sources.
